Kiddicare Reports

*Art & Craft Activities
Tried glueing shiny paper onto egg shaped paper. Got a bit stuck. Denise unglued him.
*Water Activities
Mixed all the bark into the water trough and then poured the mess into the back of his truck.
*Blocks/Construction/etc
Joined Ngapuarata in building block towers and crashing them down.
*Painting/Finger-painting
Started painting Easter theme eggs today. We are using paper mache and stuffing with newspaper.
*Sand play
William buried toys in the sandpit and then used the rake to unearth them again.
*Climbing/Balancing/Sliding activities
Played chasing through the tunnel and down the slide. Tired himself out and went off for lunch and a sleep.
*Wheeled ride on Vehicles
Carried on with pushing the trucks around - this time chased Dakota all around - lots of energy used again.
*Mat Time participation/experiences
"Mrs Wishy Washy" was enjoyed in mat-time today - William made all the plop, wishy washy noises.
*Others
Today William slept 1.05 - 2.40 pm.
*Work sheet/scrapbook focus
Started working on the colour yellow/kowhai.

*Art & Craft Activities
Started making an Easter basket (to be filled with goodies).
*Dough
William enjoys using the dough cutters to make shapes.
*Music/Dance & Movement
Really enjoyed Jack n the Box song and actions.
*Water Activities
Loves the water - helped to wash the chairs - thank you!
*Swings n things
Pushed other children today on the swings. Well great great sharing.
*Books & Storytelling
William read a story to baby Dayna - was very gentle around her.
*Manipulative/Puzzles/Games
Loves the challenge of puzzles. Gets quizzled look upon his face.
*Sand play
Lots of water, mud and movement in the sand pit today.
*Climbing/Balancing/Sliding activities
William is becoming a little dare devil, head first down the slide!
*Wheeled ride on Vehicles
Loves the scooter and now he has mastered the skill he practises all the time.
*Mat Time participation/experiences
William loves mat-time and is always a willing participant.
*Work sheet/scrapbook focus
Kowhai/yellow - continuing colour work.

Exploration - extending his current knowledge.
