Weekending 8 July 2005
*Clay
Really messy, gooey clay today. William really enjoyed getting mucky.

Five Little Speckled Frogs was the song of today.
*Water Activities
Always has a fascination for William.
*Blocks/Construction/etc
Building outside with the wooden planks. Standing they are taller than William but he still carried them.
*Books & Storytelling
More farm animal books.
*Sand Play
Big holes and sand everywhere this week.
*Wheeled ride on vehicles
Loves the big yellow truck at the moment.
*Work sheet/scrapbook focus
More circle/porowhita work.
*Learning and Development outcomes recorded
Exploration - trying different areas of play.

Weekending 15 July 2005
*Dramatic Play/Family
William showed some interest in the baby paly toys today. Pushed the doll around in the pram.
*Music/Dance & Movement
Lots of dancing inside to keep warm and busy.
*Carpentry/Construction
Used very small nails and coloured shapes inside.
*Blocks/Construction/etc
Loats of roadways made from the blocks and planks. William worked well with a group.
*Books & Storytelling
Found a Thomas the Tank Engine pop up book and carried it around all day.
*Climbing/Balancing/Sliding activities
William clambered over the half arches and swing underneath them.
*Others
Some videos because it was so wet outside. Today "Shrek".

William matched up circles from smallest to biggest.
